The two double- digit seeds left in the tournament will play Friday, but they have proven that they belong. Syracuse( No. 10) throttled Dayton 70-51 in the first round on Friday and defeated Tennessee State 75-50 on Sunday. Gonzaga(No. 11) beat Seton Hall in the first round 68-52 in the first round and crushed Utah 82-59 in the second round.
The winner of the Syracuse-Gonzaga game will advance to the Elite Eight to face the winner of Virginia- Iowa State.
