San Fransico is home to about over 7.4 million people. It also shares major cities like Oakland and San Jose. But when people think of the Bay Area they think of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Golden State Warriors and the San Fransico 49ers. Theres many things that you can do in the Bay Area. Alcatraz Island gets around 1.3 milion people visting per year. Its probably Americas most well known prison of all time.
Sporting Events inlcudes teams like the Oakland Raiders, Golden State Warriors, San Fransico 49ers, San Jose Sharks, and San Jose Earthquakes. On the Bleacher Report, San Fransico's fan base for any sporting team is ranked number 14 in the nation. The Area is use to winning organizations and moments in sports that went down in history.
San Franciso has always shaped this nations history. In 1849, many made the journey from the east in pursuit of gold and a better lifestyle. The new settlers of the west competed for golden nuggets and over 300,000 gold-seekers made the trip to the west. This caused a boom in the development in the nation and it created railroads and job opporotunities.
