Powerball rumored to reach $1 billion!

Someone could become very, very rich this weekend. The Powerball jackpot for Saturday, January 9, is now at an estimated $1 billion, the largest jackpot in U.S. history.

The jackpot in the Powerball lottery, already the largest ever payout in North American history, continued to climb, hitting an estimated US$800 million on Friday, the operator of the multistate game said.
